If these options are offered during your order, enter in the dedicated field the wording you want to see on your card (a surname, a nickname, your company name…), and/or choose the photo design. Note that fanciful wording will be systematically rejected.

Your personalisation was deemed fanciful and therefore rejected. We automatically replaced your fanciful personalisation with the first and last name on your order. Your image was deemed an insult, racism, nudity or a registered trademark and therefore rejected. We automatically replaced your design personalisation with the standard Veritas design.

By default, you can have 10 Veritas Mastercard® cards for the same holder (same first name, last name and address). Having several cards can be very useful for helping out between members of the same family. If you are a business customer, there is no limit on the number of cards — contact us.

A Veritas card does not require opening a bank account. You don't even need a bank account to get your Veritas card. So there is no check of your credit situation and no need for a bank account — even with banking restrictions, you can get a Veritas. A Veritas card only works with the money you load in advance, so there is no risk of overspending.

You can treat yourself to a Veritas or give it to your loved ones. You just need to be 18 to apply for your Veritas account and card. Once the form is completed and the fees paid, you receive your card at home in your name. It's that simple. By default, the prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card offers you maximum discretion. Your account statements can be viewed and printed online free of charge through secure access. Unless you expressly request otherwise, your correspondence is held and you do not receive account statements at home.

Each merchant has its own merchandise-return rules. If the merchant agrees to take back your product and refund you, they can credit your Veritas Mastercard® card as a refund or give you store credit. Warning: do not confuse fraud with a commercial dispute. If you dispute a transaction, it must be fraudulent.

Via your account area, request your PIN to be resent. It will be sent again by SMS to the phone number you registered. If you still don't receive your PIN, contact our customer service by opening a ticket. Note: for security reasons, we avoid giving a PIN by phone.

Your Veritas Mastercard® card is valid at over 37 million merchants and ATMs worldwide. You can use your Veritas card in shops, restaurants, at ATMs and online wherever you see the Mastercard® acceptance mark.

The prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card is often used as an ideal means of payment online. Indeed, you don't give out a credit card number that could grant access to your entire bank account. Moreover, no statement is sent to your home or your banker. So you can buy what you want online without having to justify yourself.

Online shops are increasingly secure. However, make sure you shop on reputable, secure sites. Never give your card number by email or during an online chat, but only on banking or PayPal-type sites. A simple block on your part via your account area, and thanks to the Mastercard® network, your card is immediately blocked and your money secured.

Your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card is not a bank account. No interest applies to your card, neither credit nor debit.

You must immediately inform us of any change of address, name, phone number or email. This information is essential to identify you correctly in an emergency. Log in to the site and update your details if needed. We accept no responsibility for the consequences if you do not inform us of any change to your personal details.

You can cancel your card in writing at any time via your customer interface (account closure). You must undertake to have physically destroyed the card. Your card will then be immediately blocked. Purchase and activation fees are not refunded. Purchases or transfers made or pending, and the fees relating to these operations, will not be refunded. Warning: if a dispute is open, you must first send the requested documents; once the dispute is resolved and all operations and fees deducted, the remaining funds will be sent to the account holder by cheque or transfer. Note: management/administrative fees may apply.

For your protection, we may cancel your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card if our teams suspect fraud or unlawful use of the card, or for any other reason that obliges us to comply with the applicable law. We inform you as quickly as possible of such a procedure and the documents to provide. In this case, and after validation of your documents, you must tell us within three months which account you want the funds available on your card transferred to.

Your Veritas Mastercard® card, like all Mastercard® payment cards, has a limited validity period. On expiry, and automatically, a new Veritas Mastercard® card is issued and billed at the public price. If you don't want automatic renewal, you can tell us in writing 28 days before the expiry date.

You should treat your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card like cash and look after it. Your card is protected by a chip and a PIN against fraudulent use, but it is your responsibility to keep your card in a safe place. Your PIN must be memorised and destroyed; under no circumstances should it be kept near the card or shared with third parties. We recommend that our customers regularly check the balance and transactions online. In the event of theft, loss or if you suspect fraudulent use of your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card, it is your responsibility to notify us to stop your card. Once blocked and at your request, we can ask the appropriate police services to open an investigation. In this case, you will be required to cooperate with the police for the needs of the investigation. A refusal to cooperate with the police will in no way prove fraud. Fraudulent transactions will be refunded to you once the police investigation has proven that you did not initiate them and that you exercised vigilance in keeping your card and PIN safe. Conversely, if the investigation reveals that the disputed transactions were authorised with your consent, or that you did not keep your card or PIN safe, no transaction will be refunded and investigation fees will be charged to your card. Proceedings for attempted fraud may be brought. Opening an investigation should not be taken lightly: when you request the start of this procedure, make sure you are certain that the suspicious transactions are not just an oversight on your part.

Your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card works like a standard card; you can simply withdraw your available balance at ATMs or by transfer. You can also request it in writing by email or through our messaging on the site; once all ongoing transactions and related fees are settled, all disputes closed and the KYC upgrade confirmed, we will send the remaining amount to the account holder by cheque.

The Veritas card works with over 20 million ATMs. You can also get a cash advance from certain financial institutions that offer this type of operation. In that case no PIN is needed — showing an ID is enough. Warning: this service is more expensive, but it lets you get more than the limit applied by some ATMs.

Some rental companies explicitly state they do not accept prepaid cards. Check with each merchant before starting your car rental.

This applies if and only if your registered address is in France. Your card's monthly usage limit is €10,000. The monthly limit for cash deposits and ATM withdrawals is €1,000. Like a standard account, your Veritas account has no limit for incoming and outgoing transfers.

When you activate your card online, your PIN is provided to you. If you have forgotten it, please request it again via your customer interface.

For cash top-ups from Italy, you can send cash from a money-transfer company without restrictions. Veritas is a premium product; your account limit is almost unlimited. Your card limit is capped depending on the type of card you chose and/or your country of residence.

Veritas offers a dedicated crypto wallet. For your protection, the Veritas Crypto wallet is not connected to your other Veritas accounts. So, to use your cryptos via your Veritas cards, you must first sell your Bitcoins for euros, then make a transfer to your Veritas using the dedicated IBAN.

As a security measure in case of loss or theft of mail, go to your account area and click the FIRST DEPOSIT button. A security system may ask for your password if necessary. Warning: you must have completed your digital identity verification. Your 1st top-up is carried out on average within 24 hours. The top-up fees corresponding to your initial payment method will apply, as stated in the terms and conditions.

From your PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout… account, add a bank account and enter the dedicated IBAN of your Veritas card account. To verify a new account, PayPal makes 2 transfers (under €1) to your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card. Give these amounts to PayPal to validate your new account. Once this is done, you simply transfer funds from your PayPal account to your prepaid Veritas Mastercard® card as you would to a standard bank account.

We send your card to all the countries listed in the order form. Note that in all cases you must have, and indicate at the time of your order, your address in Europe (if in doubt, you may be asked for proof of address). Creating a replacement card if necessary will incur fees.

Each physical Veritas card is valid for 36 months. The virtual card is valid for only 12 months. These durations may vary depending on the card issuer.

Generally no. Veritas's ATM fees are fixed. However, some banks' ATMs apply additional fees when the card used is not issued by the bank where the ATM is located. The ATM must nonetheless display these extra fees and ask for your consent. Read the information on screen. If these fees seem too high, use another ATM nearby.
